1. Overview

Dewly AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Dewly", "we", "us"), operates dewly.ai, an AI Duty Manager for short-term rental operators. Our service helps operators handle guest issues, coordinate cleaners and contractors, and stay in control of their operation through playbooks and approvals.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data across our website (dewly.ai) and our applications and services. By using Dewly, you agree to this Policy, which should be read together with our Terms & Conditions. Questions: founders@dewly.ai.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email, phone number, company details, and billing information.
• Operation data — data from the systems you connect: listings and property details, bookings and calendars, guest conversations, house notes, and the contact details of the team members (cleaners, contractors, owners) you add so Dewly can coordinate with them.
• Usage data — log data such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, and interactions with the service, collected automatically to keep the service working and improve it.

3. Guest and team-member data

When you connect your booking channels and messaging tools, Dewly processes communications with your guests and your team on your behalf and on your instructions. For that data, you are the data controller and Dewly acts as your processor. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect the data you connect, and for complying with the privacy laws that apply to your operation.

4. How we use data

• To operate the service: triaging and resolving guest issues, coordinating your team, preparing your briefings, and holding sensitive decisions for your approval.
• To provide support and communicate with you about the service.
• To secure, maintain, and improve the service, including anonymized internal analytics.

We do not use your data, or your guests' data, to train generalized AI models.

5. Legal bases

We process personal data to perform our contract with you, with your consent where required, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the service) that do not override your rights.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with:

• Service providers — cloud hosting and infrastructure, AI model providers, and similar subprocessors bound by data-protection agreements.
• The integrations you connect — data flows to and from your PMS, booking channels, and messaging tools as needed to operate the service. Their own privacy policies govern their handling of data.
• Legal requirements — where disclosure is required by law, and only to the extent required.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and integration credentials are never stored in plaintext. Each operator's operation is isolated: your guests, contacts, and numbers never cross accounts. Every action Dewly takes is logged, timestamped, and reviewable. SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification work is underway.

8. Retention

We retain data for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting founders@dewly.ai. Depending on where you live (including Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and where GDPR applies to your guests), you may have additional rights, which we will honor as required by applicable law.

10. International transfers

Dewly AI, Inc. is a United States company serving operators in Australia/New Zealand and the United States. Data may be processed in the United States and, where applicable, in other regions where we or our service providers operate, using appropriate safeguards.

11. Minors

Dewly is a business tool and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected personal information from a minor as a user, we will delete it.

12. Cookies

Our website uses a minimal set of cookies for functionality and privacy-respecting analytics. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

13. Changes

We may update this Policy as our practices or the law change. We will post updates here and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
